Today's Prescription: Token gifts that travel well

Do you have a generous host or hostess putting you up at their house for the weekend? If so, you probably want to bring along a small thank-you gift, but worry about toting along something else! Here are our favorite "tote-able" token gifts for under $50:
  • A charming boxed set of stylish cocktail spreaders (6 or 12), spoons (6 or 12) and forks (6 or 12) from Sambonet ranges from $20 to $32. These are already packaged nicely, and compactly!
  • Don't let the fact that these hot sellers are glass frighten you from choosing this lovely gift. The Plates with Purpose and A Platter That Matters collections made by Riverside Design are made in Pittsburgh, constructed out of recycled glass AND a portion of their proceeds go to charity. You can surely find a meaningful organization or a design that appeals to you. Don't worry, they are packaged safely in corrugated cardboard and we can easily add some additional packaging material if necessary.
  • The Julia Knight metal and enamel collection has an assortment of small bowls perfect as a hostess gift. They come in beautiful colors like Azure, Snow, Hydrangea blue and many more! If you're traveling to a beach house, this little scalloped shell bowl may be just what you're looking for. Feel free to add a gorgeous spreader in a matching or complementary color, or give the spreader on its own! Julia Knight bowls all have a Julia Knight box fitted precisely for the item, so no worry about unnecessary bulk or breakage with these metal items.
  • You can't get much easier to pack than a soft tote bag. The Envirosax bags fold up small enough to easily fit in your purse. They come in fun, cool styles and colors. I can't live without mine! We've also got functional bags under $50 from Reisenthel, Scout!, and more.
These are just a few highlights, we'd be happy to help you find the perfect "tote-able" gift for your next trip!
